📖 Traces, territories, and collective horizons

Aztarnak, which means "traces" in Basque, explores clues and signals to reimagine tomorrow. Divided into three thematic blocks, the programme presents questions and alternative paths to envision multiple, expansive horizons in dialogue with technological and environmental shifts.

The first thematic block examines the idea of territory, showcasing films set in dissident or unconventional spaces to question how we inhabit what remains. The opening screening features Julen Etxebarria's El tercer paisaje alongside Lisandro Alonso's Jauja.

The project also fosters direct dialogue with attendees: one hour after each screening, an adjacent room opens for audiences to help build a collaborative image atlas using physical materials alongside the student curators.

🎬 EQZE Curatorial Programme

Located on the ground floor of the Tabakalera building, the EQZE cinema hosts this initiative, offering a shared space to reflect upon and experience film within a community.

ℹ️ Good to know: Free admission until capacity is reached.
