📖 Global rhythms and psych-funk

With subtle yet shifting dynamics, Plaka is defined by an ongoing fascination with world rhythms. Their performance flows with an atmosphere of faux improvisation born out of studio sessions and deep sonic exploration.

The Portuguese trio weaves a musical patchwork where psych-funk, afrobeat, and psychedelic textures intertwine seamlessly. Their goal remains simple and clear: saying little or nothing to give full voice to an expansive, boundless musical hemisphere.
