📖 An intimate journey with Bach, Bartók and Brahms

The recital presents an intimate journey through three distinct sound worlds. Piotr Anderszewski begins by exploring the clear, dance-like architecture of Johann Sebastian Bach's Partita No. 1, marked by refined balance and rhythmic vitality.

The programme then moves into the fragmentary, modern inventiveness of Béla Bartók's Bagatelles, offering a striking contrast of expressive freshness and creative modernism.

To conclude, the performance delves into the melancholic depth of Johannes Brahms's late pieces, where musical time seems suspended between memory and silence.
