📖 Co-creation and musical improvisation

The project stands out for the continuous dialogue between three composer-performers who use improvisation as both a structural and compositional backbone. Their repertoire weaves together elements of bebop, free jazz, contemporary music, and diverse world folkloric expressions, creating a fluid and ever-evolving sonic narrative.

On stage, the ensemble features Jason Owen on winds, Juan Pablo Egusquiza on double bass and effects, and Ken Ychicawa on drums and percussion, blending acoustic textures and rhythm with deep expressive freedom.

🎶 The trio and Altxerri Jazz Club

Based in Barcelona, the trio travels to San Sebastián to present their work at the historic Altxerri Jazz Club, located on Erregina Erregeordearen kalea, a renowned venue for live improvised music in the city.

✨ A special opportunity to experience shared creativity and contemporary jazz live in concert.
