📖 Contemporary repertoire and sonic memory
The duo presents a program exploring the sonic possibilities of the saxophone, trombone, and electronics through recent musical creations.
The concert includes SUMMA # 01 (2024) by Luis Codera Puzo, composed for baritone saxophone, bass trombone, and electronics; as well as An altar in three frames (2022) by Jon Yu, scored for alto saxophone and tenor trombone.
Additionally, the program features Debajo (2026) by Pedro González Álvarez, for baritone and soprano saxophone, tenor and bass trombone, and live electronics. This piece takes the 1813 sack and burning of Donostia as a starting point to reflect on time, erosion, and the residues of memory.
