📖 Contemporary repertoire and sound exploration

The concert brings together scores by several current composers. The programme includes Urquiza's Pièges de neige, a piece exploring tensions hidden beneath the surface, and Ibarrondo's Phalène, focused on musical transformation. It also features a work by Barajas approaching a sonatina form, as well as Iturregi's Mamá está equivocada, which challenges childhood certainties. The performance concludes with Helga Arias's Aftermath of Implosion, defined by a shifting soundscape and acoustic rupture.

The musicians taking the stage are Tomás Jesús Ocaña González (clarinet), Sarah Beth Overcash (violin), Leonard Melcher (violin), Anna Jurriaanse (viola), Albert Kuchinski (cello), and Leh-Qiao Liao (piano).

Chroma Kollektiv is an ensemble of eleven international musicians founded within the International Ensemble Modern Academy (IEMA) 2024/25.
