📖 Exploring desire, flesh, and human connection
The performance revolves around the essential human drive to relate, touch, and feel. Manuel Liñán investigates emotion and physical closeness, discovering what propels bodies together and the consequences of their encounter through choreography inspired by Spanish copla.
Atmospheres of desire, fantasy, and provocation emerge as private feelings feed vitality. The production features vocals by Juan de la María, original music by Francisco Vinuesa, guest choreography by José Maldonado, and guest artist Mara Rey.
🎭 Manuel Liñán and the company
Awarded Spain's National Dance Award in 2017, Manuel Liñán directs and choreographs this production in collaboration with Ernesto Artillo. The piece was developed during an In Progress residency by Flamenco Festival and the Torrox Town Hall, supported by Andalusian and Madrid cultural institutions.
