This exhibition provides a rich overview of the diversity and vitality of Basque illustration, bringing together historic works and leading figures alongside prominent contemporary creators.

The project was originally created for the first edition of Basque Illustration Day, held in 2025. Following its initial premiere in Bilbao, it arrives in Donostia to display the ongoing artistic dialogue between different generations of visual storytellers.

Organised as part of the Literaktum 2026 festival programme, the exhibition is produced by the association Euskal Irudigileak to highlight the evolution and relevance of the local illustration scene.
