📖 Aerial acrobatics and tragicomedy on grief

"Juana is gone. But I do not care. I have moved on. I lead a normal life. I have never been better. I am only here to pick up my half of the fabric softener. If I look this thin, it is because I switched to skimmed milk." With this ironic and poignant premise, the show explores the grieving process following a relationship breakup.

Blending aerial acrobatics, spoken word, and physical movement, the piece presents an intimate tragicomedy authored and performed by Alicia Rechac, navigating the thin line between deep vulnerability and pretended indifference.

The production features original text by Laura Marín, Alicia Rechac, Els pets, and Javier Barandiarán, with voiceover by Laura Marín. The artistic team also includes movement coaching by Milki Lee, scenic coaching by Atic H Deba, and set design by Las Hijas de Fuller.

LABO XL festival champions new performing languages and non-traditional formats in San Sebastián, providing a platform for works that connect contemporary circus, dance, and innovative theater.
