📖 Dance and music connecting roots and the future

"Iparratik" serves as an open invitation to embark on a new journey. Step by step, dance and music intertwine past and present, revealing the resilience of traditional roots and the courage to look ahead.

Woven from heritage, emotion, and dynamic movement, this outdoor performance invites the audience to immerse themselves in the rhythm. The production is directed by Garazi Iparragirre, with choreography by Juan Luis Unzurrunzaga and musical direction by Andoni Iparragirre.

👥 Gero Axular: Basque culture on stage

Gero Axular was founded in 2004 to promote and celebrate traditional Basque dance (Euskal Dantza), fostering cultural engagement and encouraging younger generations to take an active role.

To date, the company has produced nine major shows, including Sasi Artean, Lamien Basoa, Talaia, Xereta, Argizaiola, Itzal Galdua, Agorrila, Higa, and Agoteak. They have presented over 380 performances and taken part in 64 international festivals across Europe, from France and Belgium to Germany, Scotland, and Portugal.
