📖 Dance inspired by Chillida's horizon

Hiru is a scenic journey where dance, music, and poetry engage in dialogue with the artistic universe of sculptor Eduardo Chillida. Inspired by the natural meeting of sea, rock, wind, and sky, this piece constructs an ever-transforming performance through a delicate, evocative, and deeply poetic language.

The choreography is created by Faustino Aranzabal, with dance master Idoia Ibarzabal and costumes by Paloma de Alba. The musical tapestry brings together compositions by Handel, Bach, Vivaldi, and Shostakovich alongside works by Terry Ann Tucker, Jordi Savall, Joxean Goikoetxea, Arkaitz Miner, Juan Arriola, Enrike Solinís, Miren Zeberio, and Elena Munguía, featuring the voices of Philippe Jaroussky and Leire Berasaluze.

Organised by Kresala Dantza Taldea, the Iturritik Jaialdia festival creates a vibrant setting for choreographic encounters across different spaces within the theatre.
