📖 A journey through dreams and the legend of Inguma

We have all experienced dreams of falling into the void or losing our way, even though the settings, colours, and stories unfold in unique ways within every individual mind. Through straightforward visions or incoherent narratives, the choreography showcases universal situations experienced by all human beings, including restlessness, solitude, and passion.

The performance invites audiences on a voyage through the personal dreams of the choreographer. At the core of this atmosphere stands Inguma, also known as Maumau, a malevolent being from folklore that enters homes at night while inhabitants are asleep. Commonly associated with the experience of sleep paralysis, this figure emerges on stage as the architect and creator of these dreamscapes.
