📖 A tribute to the queens of French opera

The program "Reinas" takes the shape of an imaginary opera for soloist, orchestra, and choir, created as a tribute to the great queens and heroines of 18th-century French opera.

Featuring arias, dances, and choruses by prominent composers including Rameau, Destouches, Dauvergne, and Gluck, the selection is rooted in French tradition while embracing new colours that reflect the aesthetic and political transformations of the late century.
