San Sebastián dives into the piano universe of the great Polish composer with an extensive concert series held at the Victoria Eugenia and Principal theatres. 🎶🎹

Organized in collaboration with Donostia Musika, this monographic cycle presents ten musical dates dedicated to the work of Frédéric Chopin (1810-1849) across the 2026-2027 season.

📖 Ten concerts celebrating Chopin's musical legacy

The series features renowned pianists on Victoria Eugenia's main stage: Miguel Ituarte opens on October 7, followed by Szymon Nehring (November 11), Alfonso Gómez (March 10), Jon Urdapilleta (April 28), Marta Zabaleta (May 5), and Judith Jáuregi (June 9).

Meanwhile, Teatro Principal hosts recitals by emerging pianists Sara Perarnaud (February 3) and Sofía Huerta (February 17). The programme also includes two dates at Victoria Eugenia Club: soprano Sylwia Salamonska-Baczyk with pianist Teodora Oprisor (January 27), and a children's concert with Samuel Arroyo (February 20).

This joint initiative between Donostia Musika and local municipal venues brings the richness of Romantic piano repertoire to diverse audiences and formats.
