📖 About the performance

In this production, Virginia Imaz plays Pauxa, an apprentice witch who invites the audience to an improvised coven. The protagonist dismantles traditional tales and explains that witches are just ordinary people: good and bad, generous and mean, sociable and antisocial, yet always old and wise.

Through clown parody, the piece reviews the stereotype of the witch. With witty and sharp reflections, Pauxa addresses concerns surrounding historical and contemporary femicide, pointing out how trivializing the character masks continuing violence against women.
